Full-length novels require a strong framework in which the characters act out their bids to reach their goals. Through instructional lectures, we will learn how to create a full-length page-turner of a plot. In-class creative writing exercises and enjoyable homework assignments will reinforce each lesson. These will be reviewed in class in a strictly supportive environment. Students will complete the class with an outline and/or the first chapter of their own novel.
